The ON BROADWAY Whole Artist Scholarship is designed to increase access to professional musical theatre training by supporting talented and committed students who demonstrate financial need, artistic promise, and a strong desire to participate fully in the ON BROADWAY experience.

    • Scholarships may be partial or full tuition awards, depending on available funds.

    • A limited number of scholarships are offered each session.

    • Scholarships apply to program tuition only and do not cover travel/housing unless otherwise specified.

  • Applicants must:

    • Be accepted into ON BROADWAY

    • Demonstrate financial need

    • Show artistic dedication and growth potential

    • Commit to full participation in the program if awarded

    • Application Opens: Now

    • Scholarship Application Deadline: 2 weeks after individual program acceptance notification

    • Award Notifications: Within 7–10 business days of the application deadline

  • Applicants must submit the following:

    • Scholarship Application Form

      Basic student and family information

      Confirmation of program dates and session

    • Personal Statement (300–500 words) Applicants should address:

      Why ON BROADWAY is meaningful to them

      How this opportunity fits into their artistic goals

      Any financial circumstances they wish the committee to consider

    • Applications are reviewed by a small scholarship committee consisting of Broadway Beginnings faculty and/or administrators.

    • Awards are determined using a holistic review, considering:

      • Financial need

      • Artistic goals

      • Commitment and professionalism

      • Alignment with the mission and values of ON BROADWAY

    No single factor guarantees an award.

    • Recipients will receive an email outlining:

      • Scholarship amount

      • Remaining balance (if applicable)

      • Acceptance deadline

    • Students must confirm acceptance in writing and submit any required deposit by the stated deadline to secure the award.

    Failure to respond by the deadline may result in the scholarship being offered to another applicant.

    • Scholarships are non-transferable and apply only to the awarded session.

    • Awards may not be combined with promotions unless approved.

    • If a student withdraws from the program, scholarship funds are forfeited and follow the program’s refund policy.

  • To help sustain the scholarship program, recipients may be invited to:

    • Share a short reflection or testimonial after the program

    • Participate in a brief post-program survey

    • Acknowledge the scholarship in program-related materials or social media
