THE ACTING LAB is a dynamic and inclusive acting class designed to nurture the artistic potential of students at any level.

Led by Elizabeth Burton Lyons, our program provides a safe and supportive environment for participants to learn, grow, and develop valuable life skills through the art of acting.

Kick off your new year by exploring Broadway techniques in workshop sessions including Belt Like a Broadway Star, Build Your Audition Book, and Broadway Choreography! Sessions will be led by Jodie Langel and Elizabeth Burton Lyons.

Jodie is a Broadway actress, teacher, coach, and author. Her Broadway/National Tour Credits include: LES MISERABLES (Cosette), JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT (Narrator), CATS (Grizabella), and the Pre-Broadway show MARTIN GUERRE (lead character Bertrande). Most recently, Jodie was in GYPSY starring Disney legend Jodi Benson. Jodie has her B.F.A from TISCH SCHOOL OF THE ARTS and her M.F.A from U.C.L.A. She has her own voice studio in Boca Raton, FL and has taught thousands of students in colleges, conferences, and schools around the globe. Spend the day exploring Broadway and beyond through song, dance, puppetry skills, commercial audition techniques, and more!! Sessions will be led by Lindsay Northen Bradshaw, Jared Bradshaw, and Elizabeth Burton Lyons.

Jared is best known for Broadway: JERSEY BOYS and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, DISNEY CRUISE LINE, and FORBIDDEN BROADWAY. Lindsay is Broadway's longest running understudy for GLINDA THE GOOD WITCH in the ensemble of WICKED! You may have also seen her in commercials for BREYERS, PILLSBURY, PUBLIX, and more, or in shows like NEW AMSTERDAM, THE AMERICANS, THE LAST O.G., CSI MIAMI, MR. ROBOT, and more! Join us at our next Weekend Workshop featuring Disney performer Krystina Roach!

Join us for an exciting day of musical theatre! We will be exploring the wonderful world of Disney through song and dance. Sessions will be led by Elizabeth Burton Lyons and Krystina Roach.

Krystina Roach is a Florida-native musical theatre performer, born and raised in Miami, Florida. She grew up dancing and began her performing career as a young dancer and performer for multiple Univision television shows, as well as working as a voice over artist for various foreign films, tv shows, and cartoons. She received her BFA in Music Theatre from Florida State University, where she performed some of her favorite roles including Little Red in INTO THE WOODS and Millie in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. After getting the opportunity to perform for some regional theatres around the country, Krystina made her way back to Florida and joined the Walt Disney Company as a principal performer.

For the last 13 years, Krystina has been a member of Actors Equity, performing at Disney in such shows as PLAYHOUSE DISNEY LIVE ON STAGE, DISNEY JUNIOR LIVE ON STAGE, and is currently performing in THE HOOP DEE DOO REVUE, as well as acting as the stage’s dance captain, in charge of teaching new cast members the show and maintaining show quality. Krystina is proud to have built a full time career as a performer in Central Florida while also getting to be with her beautiful family, and is passionate about continuing to pass along her knowledge and love of theatre to the next generation artists.

This Weekend Workshop will feature sessions in song and monologue coaching, choreography, and more while we explore the golden age of musical theatre! Sessions will be led by Elizabeth Burton Lyons and Drew King.

Drew King is a Broadway performer, voiceover actor and writer from New York City. He received his B.A. in Spanish and International Studies from Fordham University and has spent the last twelve years performing all over the country on great stages such as the Kennedy Center, Radio City Music Hall, and New York City Center.

In 2015, he made his Broadway debut with the Tony-nominated revival of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY starring Kristin Chenoweth and Peter Gallagher. His performance was commended in the New York Times by acclaimed theater critic, Ben Brantley, and he was awarded an “Astaire Award” for Outstanding Broadway Dancer.

This Weekend Workshop will feature sessions in song and monologue coaching, choreography, and more while we explore pop-rock styles of musical theatre! Join us for a day of non-stop musical theatre fun! Sessions will be led by Elizabeth Burton Lyons and Emily Behny.

Emily is an Actor, Singer from Silver Lake, Indiana with a degree in Musical Theatre from Ball State University (2010). After living in NYC for 10 years, she relocated to West Palm Beach, Fl with her partner and her sweet dog, Koda. She has performed all over the country as Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, for which she received a Helen Hayes nomination, and as Nessarose in WICKED. Other stage credits include Off Broadway’s THE FANTASTICKS (Luisa), Regional: ROCK OF AGES (Sherrie), GREASE (Sandy), GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING (Lynne), ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (Janet). Her TV credits include BLUE BLOODS, MR. ROBOT and BULL. Emily taught Song Interpretation at Institute of American Musical Theatre (NY) and has led Masterclasses for high school and college students in Indiana. She also teaches voice and acting privately. Sarah Claire is an actor and licensed mental health counselor who specializes in the artist’s experience both on and off stage. Select past credits include: National tour of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST as the understudy for Belle and Babette, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, ME AND MY GIRL, and CHICAGO at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Kathy in SINGING IN THE RAIN and Louise in GYPSY at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.

Join us at our 2-day Weekend Workshop featuring Broadway actor and choreographer Michael Fatica!

This Weekend Workshop will feature sessions in song coaching, choreography, audition skills, and more!

Michael is currently the assistant choreographer of BEETLEJUICE on Broadway. Past credits include: Understudying and performing as the ever joyous snowman Olaf, as well as the conniving Duke Weselton in FROZEN on Broadway, playing the famed music-man Phil Spector and others, as well as understudying Sonny Bono in THE CHER SHOW, a fumbling waiter in the 2016 RTC Revival of SHE LOVES ME (The Busboy), a striking Newsboy in Disney's NEWSIES the Musical, a revolting maggot in RSC's MATILDA the Musical, The Chubby Man in the 2017 Olivier winning Best Musical GROUNDHOG DAY, and a doo-wop singing teen in A BRONX TALE. As a Choreographer, Michael was the Assistant Choreographer on the new INTERNATIONAL TOUR of MATILDA. Michael also assisted Tony Winning Warren Carlyle in creating a new show for the Radio City Rockettes called THE NEW YORK SPRING SPECTACULAR in 2015, starring Derek Hough and Laura Benanti. He teaches and choreographs in New York City.
